Spirit House (for LEAP workshops)
From San Francisco
Our retreat house is a one and a half hour drive from downtown San Francisco. Follow Sir Francis Drake Boulevard from highway 101 or Highway 1 north or south. Go approximately 10 miles to Woodacre. You will take a series of 5 left turns approximately 2 miles from Spirit House:
- Turn left on San Geronimo Valley drive and enjoy the winding Redwood road
- Take first left on Park (if you pass small market you missed it).
- Go 2 blocks and turn left on Railroad
- Drive ½ mile to Pine and bear left beside fire station.
- Turn left on Fire road (it us an uphill climb to the last house at the top of the mountain) which is 110 Fire Road and Spirit House.
From Petaluma
Spirit House is approximately a 45 minute drive from downtown Petaluma. From Petaluma Blvd, turn West onto D Street. D Street becomes Point Reyes-Petaluma Rd. Follow Point Reyes-Petaluma Rd. approximately 8 miles to Nicasio Valley Road and turn left. Stay on Nicasio Valley Road for approximately 8 miles until you come to Sir Francis Drake Blvd. where you will turn left. You will travel approximately 1 mile on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. From Sir Francis Drake, you will make a series of turns through Woodacre to Spirit House:
- Turn Right on Railroad Ave.
- Drive ½ mile to Pine Ave. and bear left beside fire station.
- Turn left on Fire Rd. (it us an uphill climb to the last house at the top of the mountain) which is 110 Fire Road and Spirit House.
Please drive slowly and carefully up and down Fire Road. Drive in through the gate and park briefly to unload your belongings. Our assistants will greet you, show you where to park and show you around our lovely retreat space.
